What a ridiculous tactic. As you say, the Whitehouse released a summary of the call with the Ukraine President which categorically shows Trump was in on the entire thing.

Surely not, Trump is no scam artist - I'm not having any of it

Hey look, as anticipated, public hearings are now bad, after a concerted effort to demonise the previously 'secret' depositions:

And Trump supporters will just make that transition without any mental friction? Amazing.

Another thing @Trusty is going to have to studiously ignore if he's to maintain that blinkered worldview of his.

It's a tough call isn't it? Even if you're utterly insincere and just try always to pick the most convenient version of events?

    Which is preferable?

That Trump had lied, and lied, and lied about what and who he knew...

Or, that he's so stupid and negligent, he genuinely doesn't know who pays his bills and who he appoints to key political roles.

(Where *we* all know - it's probably both!)

Just subpoena him ffs. I think he'll testify if they do. I get the feeling he's dying to speak his mind on this.

Reading around a bit more, it might just be that he has a book about Trump in the pipeline, so is drumming up interest :D

Trump - Lincoln. Not two POTUS that should ever be spoken about in the same breath. And I thought Erik was the dumb one.

BBC will be showing live coverage of the impeachment hearings.

Ahhh daddy’s princess always showing how much more stupid she is than the rest of her family. A few pages I linked to a tweet that she posted in defence of her daddy, when had she done some research into the words she was saying...they weren’t even relevant to the message she was trying to portray:p

As expected, Trump is taking his tax return fight to the Supreme Court. The same tax returns he repeatedly promised to release, while campaigning for president.

I'd put good money on this being a not-so-subtle immunity request.

    They're all the dumb one.

Meanwhile, the Blacks for Trump movement is coming along... as expected.

Rudy Giuliani has reportedly hired three criminal defense lawyers. I am no expert on the legal system but when the President's own lawyer has to hire three more lawyers it does not look good. :p

Bannon has been testifying. He's just thrown Roger Stone under the bus, identifying him as Wikileaks' access point to the Trump campaign.
