Well with a few hours of the day to go, America has 42.7k new cases of Covid19. 9k cases in Florida, 5k in Texas, 3.5k in Arizona. About a thousand new cases more than Brazil had today. Have they just given the **** up?
Oh, yes they have. White House spokesman said:
    https://slate.com/news-and-politics...mericans-just-have-to-live-with-covid-19.html

We just have to live with that. Really? I suppose being in the white house you will have to live with that. The people who get it at one of the hotspots, they may not live at all.

It appears that the Republican's have been watching Rik Mayall.

    [edit]
Turns out it was a total of 47.3k new cases for America today. Well done America, leading the world again.

I suppose that's only slightly different to the fact that Russia has been selling weapons to terrorist since the end of WW2

Completely different to America. America just sent arms (and cash) to them and even included CIA training officers to help. No payment needed. ;) :D

Yep. Operation Cyclone springs to mind. They do say what goes around comes around.

Meanwhile, Roger Stone has been ordered to report to prison on the 14th of July.

Don't forget the time when Britain decided to overthrow the democratically-supported leadership of Iran. Britain was stealing Iran's oil and absolutely refused to properly share; Iran responded by trying to (legally) nationalise the oil industry - oh, Britain didn't like that! So, Britain decided to overthrow them (with the (requested) help of the CIA ;), but again: Britain was the instigator). The overthrow of Iran's democratic leadership was successful and so Britain was able to continue its goal of economically raping Iran for a while longer...till the current Islamic regime put a stop to that. I wonder how different Iran would be today if Britain hadn't done all that?

For all the ills of the British empire it is interesting to compare those countries, both pre and during British rule or administration and post independence for things like the level of tyranny, social security due to things like law and order, ownership of property, how free and fair their societies are and their economic progress and so on. Those that have actively or violently turned away from British administration have tended to go downhill, those that embraced or went along with it and have maintained and built on those things post independence tend to be amongst the best countries in the world.

That isn't to say countries can't become great without British involvement :D

Probably right around the time that she's actually convicted of doing anything illegal.

Well, she hasn't been convicted of anything so why would she have to report? Is it customary to go to prison when you've not been proven to be guilty? It seems that you think so...if that's the case, Trump and his cronies should report post-haste for their stay. It'll be a long one.

I'm gonna put a solid £50 on 'never', because...

    * emails: she was completely exonerated by the FBI
    * Benghazi: she was completely exonerated by multiple Republican-led investigations
    * Russiagate: hoax (perhaps you meant Putin's election interference?)
    * Ukrainegate: hoax (perhaps you meant Trump's quid pro quo?)
    * Clinton Foundation slush fund: hoax (keep in mind that the Trump Foundation was forced to close after the discovery of multiple violations, including the mismanagement of $2.82 million; Trump had to pay $2 million from his own pocket to settle the legal cases he lost over this issue)
    * plenty more? let's see them!

    :D

Around the time conspiracy theories and mob rule mean more than facts, evidence, and the law.

I gotta ask @jsmoke, how long d'you plan to cling onto the (very debunked by this point) conspiracy theories regarding Hillary Clinton? Is it something that you're intent on taking to your grave no matter what?
