If somebody is launching a 60lb bag over a 10m high wall then maybe they should be allowed in as long as they promise to join their athletics team.

If there's a silver lining in all of this it will be that a lot of clean power will be able to be generated from all the back-pedalling from the die-hard Trump supporters when the administration starts contradicting them.

'Thatcher in the Rye' will probably bend over backwards, scrapping fundamental freedoms left, right and centre in order to keep Trumplethinskin happy. After all, she's probably desperate for a post Brexit trade deal in order to keep herself in a job.

    Would you rather

    a) get hit on the head with 60lbs of feathers
    b) get hit on the head with 60lbs of gold
    c) get hit on the head with 60lbs of sand
    d) get hit on the head with 60lbs of concrete

Depends how dense it is tbh, the concrete could be in a liquid state etc.

    ;)

He can't back track now what about his crazy campaign promise for the wall and all the under ground sensors across the length of it to stop tunnelling. Lol.

Are the feathers in a container, or loose? Even in a sack, I'd take my chances with the feathers as they might absorb more of the impact than a gold ingot or slab of concrete would.

He also wanted it as a solar wall though how you can make a transparent solar wall is anyones guess since we have yet to invent transparent aluminium :p

Yes, but you would be rich beyond the dreams of avarice.

The gold, crafted into feather shapes, surely.

And, like any problem, it's not gonna be solved by a manchild with the vocabulary and intelligence of an 8yr old.

The feathers have lowest density an are most compressible. So (a).

Make it as a thermal tower. Rather than directly convert solar energy into electricity, you effectively have a greenhouse with a chimney on top. Well, a line of chimneys in this case. The cycle of rising air powers turbines. Of course that does mean it has to be open along the bottom for air intake which sort of defeats the purpose of it being a wall but it's okay because the mexicans will just get sucked up and blown out of the top. A slight angling on the chimney and we can ensure they slide down on the Mexican side of the wall.

See, you're just all not smart enough to appreciate the true scale of Trump's vision.

I heard that the mexican drug lords are building trebuchet in order to launch their drugs over the wall

Still game of thrones returns tonight so Trump may get some new ideas for defence of the realm ;)
Not taking bets on him declaring that the US needs the biggest bestest dragons to patrol the borders ;)

What if the feathers are in tightly compressed 60lb sack bag, and the concrete is an incredibly wafer thin 60lb sheet?

Came looking for a moist juicy stake of a thread and all I got was plucked chickens. Left Dissapoint. :(

But not before adding, Trump Tower will be renamed Slump Tower by the time has finished destroying the good old USofA. So that means we here in the UK, will be looking at a sizeable downturn in our GDP and with thix Brexit fiasco , coinciding with his POTUS term, it'slooking like it's going to be slim pickings for us. I'd kick the tyers and light the fires because we're flying back austerity territory homies.

I'm unconvinced concrete can be a wafer thin sheet and still support its own weight in order to be lifted and dropped. Maybe if you had some fine mesh underneath that you could quickly pull apart to let it drop all at once. Anyway, this is SC where we are all serious and dignified, so I shall no longer indulge this line of enquiry. ;)

Exactly what americans will be hanging out along the wall all day long to the point they would get hit by this theoretical bag, that if Trump built the massive tall wall he wanted, no human on earth could actually throw a 60lbs bag over the wall. The only people around would be the guys intending to receive the drugs, ie a criminal. I hope someone points out that Trump is trying to protect drug dealers in the US by changing his wall plans to make sure that drugs can get safely into the US even if immigrants can't(unless of course it's small mexicans because if you can throw a 60lbs bag over... you can throw a 60lbs person over the wall.

Maybe they're planning on using one way mirrors for the wall, so they can see in to Mexico but 'bad hombres' can't see out.
