The problem with XDA is that people think that adding a few apk files to a zip, deodexing and theming makes them a ROM developer. Even better if you can squeeze a few extra meaningless numbers out of a Quadrant score for your followers to put into their sig. I'm not surprised the real developers like the Cyanogenmod ones are so grumpy!

Thankfully the Note attracts a better class of person and the forums aren't flooded with **** roms. :p

That was the case at samdroid.net for the spica as well, you have a ton of people who created ROMs and got 2.2 working etc. however, they weren't proper true developers, they modified stuff around and that was it (granted it takes some knowledge to do that and I wouldn't have a clue where to start :p :o), where as the only true developer (amongst a few others) at samdroid has completely rewritten the drivers from scratch for the spica (for 2.3 and 4.0) and I think he was getting ****ed at all the people calling the "modders" developers etc. as on many occasions he kept telling everyone they aren't developers, just some guys that can move a few things around, rename certain parts and create a zip file etc. :p
