I don't think we "know" that. I think some of us might like to "believe" that, and I haven't seen a shred of evidence that conclusively proves that viewpoint.
 
I agree, I've watched all of the 9/11 conspiracy theory films and I have no doubt in my mind America attacked itself that day.

You'd think if he was told to say it, when in a public courtroom he might say, no I had no part in it but they must have completely brainwashed him.
 
Hmm, this should probably be in speakers corner DMP, the fact is, we don't know the truth behind 9/11, whether it be due to the USA Govt. or "armchair conspiritors" (thats a crappy term imo).
 
Im still dubious of the theories that America 'attacked itself'. I don't agree with the decisions that their government makes and the views it has a lot of the time, but I'm not sure they would sink to murdering thousands of their own.
 
There are far too many people who just love a conspiracy.

A) The Moon Landings DID happen
B) 9/11 really was simply some terrorists, is it so hard to believe?
C) Kurt DID JUST KILL HIMSELF.
D) It was just ONE guy who killed JFK, get over it.

I think these sorts of people have some sort of strange urge to believe that large things can't be destroyed easily. WAKE UP. THEY CAN.
 
I heard today on CNN that the way these gentlefolk have their brains washed to aid the US is really complicated due to the fact that the brain shrinks & loses shape after washing too many times. The brains in these poor souls must be minute now as religious factions have had their brains on daily wash for years, and max spin:)

So, you watched a TV program made by some conspiracy theorists and you now believe that the US Government authorised the destruction of a big chunk of New York and the killing of thousands of lives. Oh, and the damage to the Pentagon as well.

Tell me, what colour is the sky on your world?

Actually there is a substantial amount of evidence to say that they may of done, if you care to research. But its down to what you choose to believe at the end of the day.

I believe, personally, that America doesn't possess the balls to launch an attack on this scale on themselves.

I may be wrong, I may not be. At the end of the day, I don't really care.

I have read a lot of sites and so-called 'evidence' regarding the 9/11 attacks and I have not seen anything to conclusively prove that the events on that day was staged.

Next people will be saying that the 7/7 bombings were 'staged'. Talk about ignorance.

Something I will say about this though:

You know what I find disgusting? I find the fact that people want to believe in this grand conspiracy disgusting. Hell, it's inevitable that some people with start to come up with theories about Government involvement in the attacks - human nature, we hear half the story, try and rationalise it and can end up with two entirely seperate lines of thinking. But to actually want to believe that all those people were murdered by order of their own Government.... I don't know, I can't quite comprehend that thought process.

Do you always believe everything you're told? Check out some of the evidence and then make up your mind.

I'm not saying that the USA committed the WTC attacks, but something definitely stinks about the Pentagon attack.
