How is the hobo btw? It looks quite small I expect it gives a nice dense hot vape!

It is very small, I use it with a Hana mini clone as my out and about setup.

It is a very nice vape, it has a really deep juice well and the way the deck wall can be removed makes building it super easy. Great flavour also.

Just bought the P4U IPV 2S, 70W of vaping goodness. Bit bigger than Id like, but I have my mech mod for out and about.

Two tasks now

Learn about how increasing the ohms or watts affect my build and vape. Im pretty much all .28 wire, do I need to change this?
Choose some new RTA's (hate drippers for some reason), Im tempted by the Rose v2, any others I should look at?

You do not have to change from 28 gauge wire.

The Eleaf Lemo, Squape R, Erlkonigin, Orchid and of course the Kayfuns are all probably worth a look.

Had an orchid V2, liked it but stopped using it as I hated it not having screws as remembering the allum key was a pain, will look at v6 to see if anything has changed.

Have ordered the Erlkonigin, looks intriguing, will checkout the squape as I haven't heard of that before...

The filling method on the Earl is great, very convenient. And the airflow on the Squape is very good also.

Rick, could you measure the voltage drop you get on the penny v2 please.
Just the mod, not the RDA.

I will try and dig up the multi meter and give it a bash, being aluminium though, the drop will be significant I would suspect.

It is quite a nice mod in some ways, it is incredibly light and I do like the button design, its just a bit loud in the colour department.

CaNsA I had a go at measuring the drop with no coil and I am getting no drop at all. I am likely doing something wrong!

Got me a new Nemesis today (in the right colour this time). Nothing fancy and common as muck, but whatever. I ain't trying to reinvent the wheel here

Everybody loves a Nemesis, just a classic functional design and still a looker imho.

Vaping update

So i really like the RY4 flavour. Seems really nice. Got my iTaste VV 2 set at 8.0W which gives me a nice blend of hit and vapour.

ProTank 2 Seems to be holding up.

I have realised that i vape more than I usually smoke. Is this normal when you first stop cigs and turn to vape?

Just wish the RY4 was available in larger bottles- Hangsen only seem to offer it in 10ml

Yeah I vaped a ton when I first gave up, still do now though.

How are you getting on with it so far, enjoying it?

Ye i like it. I like not smelling of cigs and it means i can smoke in the house

I am very glad to hear that. Keep it up and you will feel a whole lot better in a few months, breathing better, better sense of taste and smell etc.

Just a cheap micro screwdriver.
Those tools do look handy though. I like the guaranteed bang on aspect.

What's the resistance?

I have the slowtech penny v2 with rda, and it just hit as hard when i put same rda on the nemesis.

I tried that mate and got a reading of 00.6, I get a resistance reading of 00.3 from the multi meter wires so the mod appears to be 00.3 ohms?

The RDA has a resistance of 1ohm, which is odd

It maybe light and easy to build on, but with that amount of resistance across the whole thing it takes a fair amount to get it going when using a 0.9ohm dual coil build.

I might try a dual 0.5 ohm build and see how that works.

Does yours whistle?

I have noticed the ramp up time is quite long with it, yeah.

Mine doesn't whistle.

50-65 watts?

Its the amps that are important with batteries really.

Im impressed how good the sigeli is, how powerful it is!

Also, impressed with these efest batteries, iv been chain vaping for about 45 mins, they've gone down 2% @ 40w!

Also impressed with 24g kanthal... 28g and 30g look like little whimps compaired to this beasty stuff!

The Vamo is a great mod, but stuff like the Sigelei is just in another galaxy in terms of performance!

What charger are you using for the Efests?

Got it with erm, think it came with my vamo actually. and iv got a spare one exactly the same as one came with my super-duper green lazer pointer that iv got, that's the same size as my vamo actually

That looks like a generic Chinese charger, if it is a good charger or not I honestly don't know.

I would recommend a Nitecore charger, I have the i2 version (2 bay) and it is excellent. Very inexpensive and it is "intelligent" which means it automatically detects the battery chemistry and uses the best charging profile for that battery type. It is also optimized to charge IMR batteries like your new Efests.

The one you have may be fine, I personally think it is worth investing in a nice charger to extend the life of your batts and for a bit if added safety.

It will save you in the long run mate as it will extend the life of your batteries. I think mine was about a tenner but the 4bay i4 that Pete linked too looks like a great deal and costs less than 40 smokes!
