***The Vapers Lounge*** 3.0

I
Hey guys, quick Q, I've been using the Nautilus 2 tank with it's standard 0.7 and 1.8 ohm coils and I'm struggling to get any taste from them. I'm running the 1.8 at the moment at 10.5w. Anything higher and it just tastes like burning. I've tried 2 different vendors for juices and it's always the same. VERY little flavour.

I smoke direct to lung, is this anything to do with it?

I've got some of their 0.7 BVC coils on the way and some milkman e juice which I've not tried yet.

The Nauti is not a good direct-lung tank. It's a mouth to lung tank.
I'd see if you can get down to a local vape shop and try some different tanks.

Any suggestions from the top of your head for a good direct to lung tank? I went with the Nautilus 2 with the notion it would replicate smoking a cig, it did. But within a few days, I naturally took to DTL.

I'm running it on an Eleaf iPower 80w.

I'm running an Eleaf ELLO at the moment and really enjoying it. It came with my Pico 25 but I wasn't planning to use it beyond a couple of tanks just to see how it is but the flavour is excellent. The sliding top-fill is super easy too.
Based on my few days with it I decided to get some more coils (the HW1 coils seem the best for flavour). Running it at 60W and it's a lovely vape to be honest. Doesn't leak either.
It comes as a 2ml TPD compliant tank but you get a chimney extension and a longer glass in the box to take it to 4ml.

Ahh ok yeh been looking at a few reviews and the main complaints on the inbox is the panels and the bottle itself. Panels are a bit loose and the bottle it comes with is a bit too hard when squeezing.

At the moment I’m currently torn between the inbox and the Athena squonker. The Athena isn’t a regulated mod whereas the inbox is.

I've got an Inbox and it's great. My only complaint is that the bottles have a very small neck so filling them is a bit of a faff. Other than that it's a superb squonker. My side panels don't rattle by the way.

Try some Eleaf HW coils in your V8 baby. They are the same fitting (along with a whole bunch) but they seem to last very well indeed. I'm using some Procore Aries coils at the moment (again, same fitting) and they seem to be lasting well too.

My only complain with the SMM is that it occasionally seems to weep a little from the top cap. I can't see exactly where it comes from but the rest of the tank is so good I'm willing to forgive it.

I'll only say that it's a new product from one of the biggest brands, don't want to incur the wrath of any mod for promoting/advertising. It's a closed tank system with disposable liquid pods which I believe contains the heating/atomising element. The shell of the device is primarily the battery. With the larger devices, presumably they bridge the gap between taste and smell significantly?

You can mention the device make and model as long as you're not jumping up and down saying "BUY THIS".

I picked up a Nixon V1.5 today. Lovely little thing. Excellent flavour and very convenient being a squonking RDTA.
It's not going to please the cloud folk because it's quite restrictive but man, is the flavour excellent. Vaping away happily with a 0.4 Ohm, spaced, 26/32 clapton SS316 coil at 35W.
