***The Vapers Lounge*** 3.0

www.lubrisolve.com is the place for your nic and bases.
Have a read of the first post of this thread. It contains everything you need to start mixing.

Here's something that just occurred to me. If B2C sales of nic above 18mg are banned from the end of May and B2B sales are still allowed, what's to stop me just buying the nic through my company? I have a dormant company registered with companies house......

@photoshop Unless you are mainly vaping at low wattage (15W - 30W isn) then you will be better off with the 3000mAh 30Qs. The 3500s are only really good for 8A (which is going to be about 33W per battery) and have really bad voltage sag at high currents. What is your mod and what power are you vaping at?

It's fine. I use VG nic and freeze it. As long as you take it out of the freezer an hour before you plan to use it there will be no issues. If you mix by weight there's really no difference. VG nic is a pain when you're trying to use syringes to measure.

Would you lads recommend I go for the Nautilus 2 or Clieto Xemo

Very, very different tanks. The Cleito Exo is a 80W cloud chucker for direct lung, the Nautilus 2 is a 15W mouth-to-lung tank. Comparing the two is like asking whether you should buy a Range Rover or Mazda MX5.
If you want a direct lung tank then the Crown 3 seems to be the one to go for at the moment. I don't have one myself but all the feedback I'm hearing is good. For a mouth-to-lung then the Nautilus 2 is a good shout.

With a Nauti 2 you won't be going through more than about 10ml per day at the outside. When I'm in a mouth-to-lung mood I go through 5ml per day ish. When I'm in a clouds mood I can burn through 30ml in a day easy.
I would start with 1l of each PG and VG. That will keep you going for months if not years with that tank.
Grab some 150ml bottles. I like these because if you buy 30ml concentrates then you can just dump the whole bottle in to mix at 20% then add VG/PG, and nic to requirements.

For MTLing I'd mix at 50/50 PG/VG to give that cigarette-like throat thump when you inhale.

Joyetech VTC Basic. It's tiny.
I use one with a Nauti X and it makes for a very, very small stealth-vape.

If you want something that uses 18650s then you can't go wrong with an iStick Pico.

Good choice. I'm a big fan of the Engine and the Engine Nano. The Nano is my ADV at the moment. Flavour isn't the very best but it's good enough and it absolutely does not leak.

I quite like the look of that Smok but I'm very wary of their products. They always look OK but seem to have one or other deficiency.
Does that one have TC that actually works?

Either dump the juice before the flight, or invert the tanks and keep them that way through the flight. Inverting them means that as the pressure changes it's just squeezing air in and out of the coil rather than juice.

You don't need really high-end kit to be satisfied. I have some very expensive kit but I keep going back to the little Digivape Siren on a VTC Mini. Less than £50 right there. It all about getting the right kit rather than the best kit.

So, if you are wanting to build your own coils then I can highly recommend the OBS Engine Nano. Super-easy to build on and the flavour is excellent. Get yourself a Coilmaster coiling kit from FT or wherever. That will get you a build tester, tweezers, and a coiling jig. For cotton, buy a block of Muji cotton pads from Muji. £5 will buy you enough for a lifetime. And for wire, grab some from http://www.wireandstuff.co.uk I can highly recommend the 26/32 clapton SS316 stuff as it works in both power and TC modes and will give you a good resistance for a sensible sized coil (0.5 Ohms single coil, 6 wraps, 3mm diameter).

Keep the Smok device until it dies unless you fancy a change, in which case get a DNA75C device (if you don't vape over 75W) such as the Therion-C. If you can't stretch to one of them then grab a Smoant Charon. Well built and cheap.
