Just get glycerine from the cake making bits section at asda or wherever, just make sure it's not got any oils in it.

That's how I remember it IIRC.
 
Well i appear to have fixed/solved the AC9 leaking, the AC9 v1.3 has a screw in top insulator, and it would appear either i hadnt tightened it down enough, or there was a bump in the delrin which got removed the second time i screwed it down (thanks to keith at C9V for the heads up), been about 6 hours and its still bone dry, if its still dry in the morning ill be a happy chappy.

Glad you got it sorted, if you are now a happy chappy, could you post a pic of AC9 Poldiac combo, I'm thinking of getting one, either that or a Foggatti t22. Would like to see it on the Poldiac before I spend the monies. :)
 
Yup here we go, These are quick and dirty pics, S3 takes some shocking pictures sometimes - Click for bigger images. edit - you can see the slight mismatch in finish on the ac9 - also to note the Poldiac is slightly bigger than 22mm, think its 22.6mm so theres a tiny step but actually i quite like it.

The coil 4 wraps of 28g or 0.30mm kanthal comes out at 0.9 ohms

Looks sweet mate,

I posted back to you the white tank yesterday.

The frosted tank looks much better, much more like the real thing.

When your cutting out your mesh what size do you do and also what grade mesh do you prefer?

At the moment I am cutting out a sheet of 35mm x 50mm, lightly oxidized 500 mesh which seems to be working nice. I do want to try the same dimensions but also with a 2mm silica wick in the middle, should help the wicking even more I would have thought?

For my coil I use Kanthal A1 0.20mm (32 SWG), 3 wraps of that gives me a 1.8ohm coil all the time which is nice for my Vamo @9w.

Personally i havent tried it, i know a few folk over on ECF do it on the bigger wick atomisers such as the AC9 or RSST, if you leave a bit hanging out the top and find it doesnt work you can easily pull it out without re-wicking it.

Well I ordered some 2mm wick the other day which should be just the right size for the wicks I'm making, should fit nice and snug in the middle of the wick. I would have thought it would help saturate the ss wick a bit more to guarantee no dry hits.

Another thing what drip tip are you using for you AC9, I like the look of that!

Thanks for that, looks very nice, the colour/finish match looks ok in the pic's. Looks like quite a long vaper chamber, how long is it with out the tip?
I do like, but still can't decide, think i might go with the t22(if i can get hold of one!) and make my own base and chamber as i would like some brass on the atti.

2yrs and still no cigs
e-gigs are good, but I 'smoke' far more than I used to now due to the convenience thing..
I started on the ego, moved to CE2 to CE3, then the ego-c, then tried the bulli A2 tank, then the vision eternity, followed by the CE4 and CE5 and finally onto the vivi-nova which has been my steady vape for the last 6 months or so.
I fancy a change so Im wondering what is next or hot right now?
Ideally Im looking at running from an ego battery as I have loads of them having given all my 18650 stuff away as it isn't really jeans pocket stuff which is essential for me now

A poldiac with a prototype HyDID tank/atti, not ready for production yet:(

I believe there will be a sleeve for the tank also, looks good as is IMO

Ive sent you a trust message about the RSST you sent me back.
 
Look what i got today, got an Evic for £50 which i think is cheap for these



Now to do my homework and work out how to use the bloody thing lol
 
yeah its brand new, then i checked the security code on the joyetech site just to make sure its legit, and it is.
Just trying to learn the difference between VV and VW and all the other little things lol
