On ukvapers forum i noticed a vendor who had a market stall in Bedford, and as its only 15 miles from me, i decided to pop up and have a look while the missus went shopping.
Really nice guy, explained to me that he gets them from Ireland, as TW holds the rights to sell them in the UK.
Now i'm not too bothered if this is true or not, but he promised me they are legit, and it checked out on the website so i am happy with it.
This is his website, but i got it cheaper at his stall lol

Thanks :) Let us know how you get on with it.
Even though they are a great starting point, it looks like very few vapers stay with the ego kits for very long!! :D

I'm not sure this is true. Not many that go on forums and post do. I'm sure there is loads out there that buy them are happy and vape them still. Vendors that sell cig a likes say they sell many more of them and their refills than ego style too. We are really the small scale enthusiasts. Just like most people that use PCs don't browse PC forums or keep up with the latest tech.

You could well be right. I think after getting involved in communities such as this and vaping forums, it makes me think that everyone does! In reality, we are a small proportion of the estimated 700,000 vapers this country has. As you mention, more than likely a vast proportion of that number use cigalikes.

I wonder what sort of percentage of vapers have completely stopped tobacco or just use vapers as a way of getting nicotine when it's not convenient to smoke.

I don't think we have any real numbers on this yet. I can say I know of some that use both. Most of the people I know of have completely changed over.

So, I've been thinking about getting a Vamo....

What sort of tank would you recommend? Protank? RSST? Other?

Bear in mind this will be my first VV/VW device. :)

What you currently using? If your new to rebuilables then the RSST is a good learner atomiser, if you want something faff free then the Protank is a good choice, you can also rebuild the heads on those, but dont need to you can buy them new.

Doesn't really matter anything will work on it that uses 510 threading and a 510 to ego adapter if it needs ego threading (which most things 'ego' don't) VV/VW is about having more choice not less. Some tanks look better on it than others but that is personal choice. The aga t2+ for example fits it so perfectly you'd think it was a hybrid.

I'm considering picking up a Genny, and I've had the AGI suggested as an alternative to the RSST. Anyone have any experience of both?

What are your setups on your Vamo's, Evics or VV/VW devices?

As i posted, i picked up an Evic, but using a CE5 Clearomiser on it, and it just doesnt look right or will get the best out of the Evic?

Thinking of going down the DCT tank/cartomizer route oe maybe even the genisis rebuildables, but i work on building sites, so i need to leave it lying on its side quite often, so i think the genisis is poor for this?
What would u guys recommend?
And what voltage/wattage are you using on your Nova's etc...?

A genesis wouldn't be recommended. Go for a carto tank. Something like this would work well

extra cartos

Or you can get the DIY ones:

or even use a Diver/killer instead of a Boge depending how far you want to go

Thx Majnu, i have been looking at the DIY ones already, seem to see a lot of them about, so may go for them.

I've got some X8 carto tanks on the way to me to partner the Vamo. Going to get some Boge cartos for it.

Im getting annoyed with Genesis style now lol, had my AC9 working fine, then in a misguided choice i decided to faff with it, long story short, 6 hours and it still isnt working,
Popping coils, constant hotspots, loose coils, tight coils you name it ive had it again, like a black art, doesnt help that ive moved from the RSST to an AC9 which doesnt have an insulated wick hole.

On the subject of the RSST, Combat Fighter you need to answer my email/trust, the bits you sent back were not my RSST parts, you sent me your top cap (which you drilled to 1.5mm, mine was drilled to 1.2mm for my personal preference), top deck, center pin without the silicone insulator i had installed on mine, you sent back the bottom deck as i scribed a K into it - top deck had 2 marks under the neg screw (not present) and the top cap obviously. :(

Currently using the Ego T starter kit from vapeland. Only ever used CE5's and a vivi nova. So far.

The CE5 sometimes tastes burned which is not nice. The vivi nova is good though.

Faff free is good. Don't want to be messing about too much if it can be helped.
