I got my batts from efest, but torchy the battery boy does some good deals on his ebay shop

How long did the Efest order take? I'm still waiting for my 18350s to arrive. Got the Vamo, X8s but nothing to power it with. How frustrating!! :D

According to HK Post, they arrived in the UK on 15th May.

Just a heads up for you guys, the Meshcompany has a side site designed for us vapers in mind, quite a bit easier to find what you want rather than trawling through the list.

Also as of the week commencing 20th May, a wide range of Ekowool and 316 Stainless Steel 7 x 19 and 7 x 7 wire rope will be available to purchase through http://www.vape-atomizer-mesh.com/

great stuff I found the site a mine field otherwise.

Hamster - Torchy Boy's batteries are good and he does discounts if you buy direct rather than going through ebay.

Thanks for that, just like everyone else using the old site was a nightmare for me. Just goes to show how much vaping is part of their business now. Wasn't long ago they didn't have anything to do with vaping and just happened to sell what people needed.

Thanks. I noticed he posted on vaping forums but didn't know he deals direct.
I've ordered four of the Efest 18350 which which is probably enough for now but I would like some of those Keeppower 18650s.
I really like the look of the Vamo in mini mode. The proportions seem spot on.

I was going to order from there the other day but they didn't do Ekowool. I emailed them asking but they didn't reply!! Thanks for letting us know :)
Already got some various silica, Ekowool and Kanthal on the way to me from LTEcigs but will check them next time.

KnightStalker, you may be able to help here. Is Kanthal A just as good as A1 for vaping needs?

Yup there isnt much difference in the ratings of Kanthal, its just the heat they can withstand, which in terms of vaping we never reach untill it shorts, for round wire A/A1 is the most prefered as it will last a little longer before it snaps but your never going to notice a difference.

Ribbon wire is D and most round wires are A/A1.

Thanks Knight. I was a bit undecided the other day. A was a lot cheaper but I went for the A1 as it seemed that's what everyone else was using. I'll probably get A next time.

Here's my new toy, sadly no batteries yet. Dying to try it out!

It's in mini mode. I have small hands :)

If you want cheap and you're happy taking any risk involved, buying from China will get you the cheapest Vamo. Vaporbreak are the cheapest I think. I got mine from Zainy.net for a few quid more. Read up on it before deciding; there's a thread somewhere on UKVapers about the £20 Vamos from Vaporbreak.

Rather not get tacky stuff for cheap. But what are the chances ill be getting that from a UK based online site anyway?

If you're in Manchester central you're more than welcome to borrow some batteries and a charger until yours arrives

Vivi nova (with body cone) from Vapeland on a steel ego-t battery. Pretty pleased with this.

Vapes well, but for anyone considering the step up (and in fact curious if anyone else has had this), but don't fill it to the level the measure on the side suggests - fill it to just below the wick, otherwise you end up with a mouthful of juice...

That's very kind of you but I'm in London :)
According to the tracking info the batteries arrived in the UK on the 15th so I'm hoping they will turn up tomorrow or Monday. The clearos on my ego have seen better days but just about useable. I might be tempted to drip on the cartos with my ego batteries.

Just received a 900mah JAC Vapour V602 Automatic in stainless, with a 1.6mm tank. Much better than my old cigarette size thing.

I've been smoking again the last few months so hopefully this will keep me off em for a bit...

They are likely made in the same factory as the ones you buy in the UK. It can be quite hard to tell who is making something when it comes from China because they all just copy each other (and often copy hand made expensive stuff) If you can stand waiting for it to come from china (and have more problems if it breaks returning) then it will be ok ordering from them. I went UK because I was wanting it next day and I trust that if it had turned up DoA I'd get it replaced with little fuss.

Thats about normal, ive had that in all the genesis ive coiled so far, RSST being the worst, AC9 being the cleanest after a days use, think its the thickness of the metal allowing to heat up and cool quicker compared to the AC9's thick steel.

RSST is a take on the Genesis style atomiser, Usually a bottom fed atomiser where you rely on stainless steel mesh to wick the juice up to the coil where its fired, there are many different types of genesis and all do roughly the same job and almost all look the same with a few changes here and there, the RSST is just one of those atomisers, like my AC9 is also one.

Good to know, thanks for that.

It's the first rebuildable I've had so wasn't too sure what to expect :p

im happy with my vamo and kanger protank, im not an electrician or a mechanic lol some of this stuff is a step too far for me lol

As I said, the RSST is the first rebuildable I've used and it couldn't have been easier to setup, really only needed a screwdriver and a pair of cutters to cut the mesh and coil wire.
