US: The Walking Dead Season 5 (contains spoilers)

Good finale I thought, built the tension on who was going to die...Darryl, Glenn, priest man etc then other people did instead. Glenn should have just left that guy out in the woods though.

90 min run time was a joke, was 1 hr 4 minutes including end credit scene lol.

Glad Morgan is still alive, thought he was dead after seeing that decapitated body last episode, Glenn should have left the bloke to die or killed him (ive forgot his name already)

Love Carols wee talk with Pete when she dropped off the food, she's really grown as a character & is turning into an utter bad ass, & the look on Morgans face when he arrived at the compound & saw Rick, impeccable timing or what?. :D

The Finale was the only part of this series worth watching and that wasn't that good, it's a total snore-fest now.
I stated that I am not going to watch the next series but we'll see.

Solid episode, didn't pan out as most people expected ;)

Guess we'll have to wait till next season for more people (someone important) to die

Didn't he leave the group with his young son?

He wasn't in the group. He met Rick before Rick reunited with his wife right after Rick got out of the hospital. He was living nearby with his son. Rick left him with a walkie to find him with at predetermined times when they separated...it never happened.

He subsequently lost his son (his wife was already dead and walking..he couldn't bring himself to shoot her though) and he then turned up again acting crazy in a town with loads of traps set, Rick and Michonne saved him iirc, but he was too far gone in his madness, and Rick left him the map just in case.

I was really impressed with the finale, overall season 5 was great other than a couple of quiet episodes. Always liked Morgan as a character, hope we see more of him in the next season.

I wonder how he is going to react considering his "all life is precious" motto.

Oh wow - thought it was a great episode.

No deaths from Rick's group although I thought Glenn was a goner and also thought Gabriel was going to go mental and murder some folks in Alexandria.

I see Michonne has donned her blade again after not hanging it back up. Looks like it will be interesting to see what will happen with Morgan. 5 Season in and he finally caught up with Rick and probably see him much different than the Sheriff from Season 1

Excellent episode! I was really rooting for Glen, but he should have shot that guy in the woods, he already knows he'll just come back to the camp and lie more.

I think it was a little out of character for Rick not to just shoot that wife-beating maniac when he came in with the sword, but I suppose the writers wanted to push Deanna onto Rick's team and this was the most convincing way to see his point. Also great how Rick turns up for the last scene totally bloody after the townspeople already thought he was mental :D Odd that he's not worried about Carl and Judith tho as there could be more than the three walkers that he found. Guess he'll have to handle the priest in the next episode.

Excellent timing to bring Morgan back into the fold, but incidentally who let them back into Alexandria (Rick had closed the gate and no one was manning it)??

With every crisis they suffer Rick's way is always proven to be the right way, the longer people are with him the more they see that. Morgan's actions show that too after he left the two wolves alive and they then caught and killed red poncho man. Funny how zombies are more interested in loud music than live flesh

Is it just me or did the camera angle during scene where Maggie picks up the priest, make it look like he was going to pull a knife on her?

Yes, the whole episode was done in a way that made you think a main character was going to die, first Glen, then Daryl, then Rick, then Maggie. Definitely deliberate.

I don't think Rick had a gun at the point of the husband entering with the machete.

Given plenty of people have been sneaking out over the fence I just assumed they'd done the same or at least one had to get in and open the gates.
