The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

I can't link, but the press guy said that the 1.07 patch will feature something that should "please a lot of fans".

In a perfect world I would hope it was proper quest levelling and much better controls, but it is probably NG+

My perfect world preference would be for REDkit, but It's probably months off! If it's released early enough, I can see TW3 having a modding scene to rival Skyrim. If it's released too late, like it did with TW2, it'll just fade into the shadows.

How in blue blazes do you kill Jenny O' the Woods! I am level 11 but finding it very hard.

Moved on to a different Witcher contract (also level 10) and killed a grave hag in about 10 seconds! Aard blast knocked her down and finished her with one move!

There seems to be quite a disparity between the difficulty levels of monsters but maybe my character is just more geared up for certain monsters over others.

Only fight in the game I struggled with and had to do several times over, think the suggested level is a bit low really. Wraith oil and Yrden sort her out.

Hopefully also sort out multiple Glyphs and their crafting, I could do with turning my lesser Glyphs into greater ones.

Andi.

I just found another part a bit strange- spoilers for the Brothers In Arms quest

You ask the Emperor for assistance at Kaer Morhen as there will be a battle there. He very reasonably offers to send lots of men. Great. Then he insists that General Voorhis leads them, only for Geralt to, for no reason be totally against it and refuse the help!...Voorhis is actually one of the friendliest NPCs to Geralt and the last I saw him, they got on really well!

Bizarre. Seems like very little thought put in to it, or maybe content was cut.

I have to agree with this. It makes little sense overall.

I think it's down to Geralt thinking the General might have orders to then return with Ciri after the battle, and possible clean up the rest. Although normal soldiers could be given those orders as well.

Having an entire Banner, something like 500 men, and some siege machines would have made short work of the Aen Elle assault force.

Agreed on this would have liked to have been my decision.

Item storage. Has to be.

I've installed this from Disks & it's downloaded patch 1.2 but no others, rather strangely I've played for several hours but I've not seen an option to type in the CD Key either

Can I get some thoughts on difficulty level?

Just started playing (loving it so far!). I chucked it on the hardest as I figured I'd like a challenge, but it took me ages to kill the griffin. Wondering whether to admit defeat and crank it down a level or persevere. Does it tend to get easier? I don't want it too easy but don't want a frustrating experience.

Seriously though, I know I've not played much but so impressed with it up to now!

Death March become hilariously easy later on.
All down to preparations, and practice. Once you get over level 10 things get easier as all of White Orchid is really a tutorial area.

You get to the point if you put in some effort to take out enemies well over 10+ levels above you.

I love it, and the challenge.

Just updated this today with the latest DLC, Skellige armour, most wanted, etc,. Now I have no audio when I press "E" to engage in conversation and no sound effects when collecting loot. All I seem to have is the background music. Just re-installing to see if that fixes it.

Anyone come across the cave system in Ard Skelling with the Wooden large bear statue in it, it a huge complex with this in the centre but no monsters or loot or anything...seems like its there for a reason.
