Hahaha nope seriously though, I still don't know if it is classed as bullying if the recipient does not see it as bullying...but whatever it is she has got away with it for too long and she can find some other way to deal with her insecurities than lashing out at other people.
The ridiculous thing is.....she herself is of mixed heritage

I may joke about someones penis at work for example or tell a joke about a dwarf if I worked with dwarfs. Not a direct insult or direct bullying but still a discreet form of bullying.
If you want it solved something has to be said. It might be a good idea just to come out with something like
"From now on I wish not to chat or discuss about my home life. Work discussions only, otherwise HR may be involved"
I will see what happens tomorrow. I plan to confront. Just not sure how / when / what to say lol
