Pretty sure I made this point last time this came up, but in my book ... 11 would give 4 types of people: 00, 01, 10 & 11.

If you're using binary just as a number, then 11 would give 3, anyway

Yeah, I've heard it before as 10 people ('10' as in meaning 2 in binary). 11 would mean 3 and then the joke no longer works.
