There's too much talk of the 50mm 1.8 in this place!

So thought I'd even it out a bit with this.

Arrived this morning. I love the 50mm FL on crop and full frame/film so when I saw this one I just had to have it! Bought it second hand, 2010 code so no hint of back focussing that I can see. Perversely sharp and magnificent colours! Just don't remind me how much it cost.

Enough typing, I'm off out to have a play.

I used to use a Raynox 250 with a nifty. It worked great. Just make sure you use high f/stops as the distance of focus is tiny in single figures.
