The IFX-14 has arrived to keep your CPU performing optimally at ice cold temperatures. This heatsink is HUGE but extremely light weighing only 2 pounds! (:p) The heatsink is large enough that you can strap one or two 120mm or even 140mm fans to it. The advantage to these larger fans is that you can run them slower and quieter, while putting out even more airflow. The large heatpipes also contribute by distributing the heat quickly and efficiently. There is no need to worry that this heatsink will not fit into your case because it can be rotated 90° in any direction to ensure a perfect fit.

- Larger surface area than any other heatsinks (140mm x 120mm) with option to install one or even two 140mm fans
- Designed for better air flow management to work with the heatsink fans and the air inside your computer case
- Four large 8mm heatpipes to distribute massive amount of heat fast and efficiently
- Optional to rotate the heatsink 90 degrees to best fit your system configuration
- Multi-platform compatible backplate for installation on vast number and type of motherboard. No need for complicated tools to convert
- Includes a back-side dual heatpipe heatsink (patent pending), which not only additionally cools your CPU but also takes care of the heat coming from the back of the motherboard to extend the life expectancy and stability of your motherboard

Apparently it arrives tomorrow!

Some test on Extreme Systems point so far to it not beating the Ultra 120 Extreme, just about same, also fact its curved where fan mounts it lets lot of air pressure miss fins, they are covering in velcro etc over there to fill gap lol.

Ther site has it fitted on a Striker Extreme, inc rear socket cooler, they tell you to apply TIM to both CPU and Heatsink

Have you seen the size of that thing! It's stupid!

There's a line, and they've crossed it ;)
Seriously, they've got to come to a point when enoughs; enough!

lol

I don't think it looks much bigger that something like a Tuniq Tower. The backplate cooler certainly makes it looks even bigger though! :)

Look forward to some Duo/Quad core results from forum members.

Tuniq tower ain't all that big tbh, i own both the Ultra and the tower and the tower ain't that much bigger.. that IFX is big! :D

Going back to this, finally picked up an IFX-14 and its better and quieter than my U-120 Extreme at the same clock yes, but i'd never pay full price for it :) (got it for 30 squids).
