Things I need to do before am 30!

People,

after talking to some of my pals - it finally tiggered that I will be 30 next year and to be frank, I not done a lot in my life nor have anything planned for the future, I dont even have a pension at the moment.

I'm still living at home with parents officially but do spend at lot of nights at my girls house; am I planing to move out this year - and have been for few years now but got used to the comfort life style and the cash, but its the only thing I got planned.

So if anyone have suggestions please feel free.
 
Well the "things I need to do before I am XX years old" list is quite a personal thing really isn't it? with your own goals you hope to achieve, activities you wish to have done and places you wish to have visited, surely we can't tell you what should be on the list?

For me it's:

1. Move out of home.
2. Make a trance track all of my own instead of with a mate,
3. Play an international dj gig (somewhere like Ibiza or Australia).
4. Clear my debts.
5. Find a nice girlfriend.

So before talking to your mates you didn't know your age :p

Nah seriously matey 30 is no biggy. Not like 35 which is the 50% mark for most men :(

I'm sure you have done things with your life (at a guess), but you're judging them by others which is a trap will all fall into.

I will be 28 this year.

I haven't got a pension either (I am still paying off student debt)
I have a girlfriend who is wonderful
We have our own house together
We have a cat
I have a great stress free job


By the time I'm 30.
I will have nearly finished off paying my debts bar the mortgage
Changed my car
Still be healthy, teetotal and have enriched my life.
Earning a bit more money for cool stuff in life including nice holidays.
 
I did this very same thread a couple of years ago *cries*. The oly things I can remember from it are get told off by a policeman and buy some g-strings. You sound far too sensible, do something dappy!
 
Well mine would be,

1, Get rid of all debt !
2, Retrain and become a plumber and my own boss, get my little bro to my apprentice.
3, Spin Google Earth around, stop it and where ever it stops go there, ala Last King of Scotland style. Did it last night and it landed on a river valley in Tibet that had a really cool bend going around a mountain, looks like a cool place but possibly a bit hard to get too, a lot
4, Actually visit a F1 GP with my mates rather than talking about it all the time!
5, Be able to run a Marathon.
6, Own a Paramotor
7, Do a bit of traveling, with my paramotor that'd be cool.
8, Get a motorbike, a big one
9, Still Unknown
10, If everting else goes to plan to not be sitting at this desk looking a the same data monkeys !

Honesty I never remember how old I am, I stopped thinking about it when I hit 22.. I look young (no wickles on this face) and act young as well so people think I'm still in my late teens..; some 14 year old looking girl asked me out the other month, I had to refuse as you can get locked up for stuff like that...
 
Do you have a tattoo? I want to get a tattoo before I'm 30. Get a tattoo.

No! shes sweet at lot younger than me, and we are still learning about each other. I don't think shes the finish article yet personality wise and pray that shes the finish article bodywise. :D

I did this when I was young, I did'nt find it at fun as people make out.... I older now so I might give it another blast - good one.

I been thinking about a lot, I want a tattoo but I seen old people with tattoo and its icking. Plus I'm very fickly in what I want, so I really need to think about it and sleep on it for a period of time before I commit myself.

Thanks for the suggestions keep them coming the list building now.

I disagree. I know a lot of old boys (60+) with tattoos and I think they look good, sure they're faded and smudged but that's the nature of them. I think a fresh tattoo would look worse on a pensioner.

What I'm saying is, don't let that put you off, this thread is about doing stuff before you're 30, not what you'll be like once you're 60. :)
