I've got a date in Cheltenham next Saturday and it's neutral ground for the both of us so I need some ideas of what to do/what there is in Cheltenham.

I've tried Googling for a Christmas ice rink/wonderland - the only semi-decent link is a blog post which says 2009 in the blog, but it was posted a year ago. Is there one in Cheltenham this year (it says it was/is at Montpelier Gardens).

Other than that what activities are there besides coffee shops/restaurants etc?

I haven't seen or heard of one, but then again I haven't been looking.

There is a small Christmas market which isn't that good. :(
 
afaik there really isn't that much to do. Why not go bowling or something? Girls seem to enjoy *beating guys at sports.


*NOTE: It is well established that men only ever LET women win. They are never beaten
 
Trouble with bowling is one person's always bowling and the other's always sitting down, so seems a bit distant. It's only really sociable in groups of 3 or more...
 
Its a beautiful town to walk around and see all the regency buildings and if you have a car the cotswolds are only 20mins away.
 
Yeah, they usually have an open air ice rink at Montpellier gardens.
It's between 22nd Nov and 4th Jan. The only reason I haven't been is because of a mixture of uni deadlines and food poisoning :(
