Things you missed in films but have now spotted because of HD

The wonders of HD television. Showing you all of those little details you missed as a child.

Like the jars of dead dogs in Beethoven. WHAT!? Our faces when we spotted that.

Not that I'd class that as a 'good' one, but another good spot is the Thing (John Carpenter) - it turns out the doc has a nose ring. Never spotted that until someone else mentioned it on here and yup it's now clear as day to me!

Any other good spots?

The attention to detail of the gore in Starship Troopers. On DVD it looks OK and looks brutal but tends to all blur into a bloody mess, but in HD it's absolutely amazing. You can see individual veins, arteries, muscles etc. and those two guys who get burned alive you can actually notice things like one of their eyes hanging out.
