think 3 rings of death is down to AV lead

I swapped my XBOX360 a couple of weeks ago after it kept on getting the 3 rings of death.

when I got my replacement, the first time it booted i got the 3 rings again. switched it on and off and it was fine so I thought nothing of it.

recently iv been getting a few more, only when powering the console on, no in game crashes. The last time was about 30 mins ago. switched it of and on, still 3 rings. switched it off, wiggled the AV lead and switched it on and all was well.

Im thinking its myafter markey Joytech HD COmponent cable that is causing these 3 rings. is anyone else experiancing the same problems.

Well the old xbox used to give you a red and green flashing ring if you didnt have an av cable plugged into it. But you would have thought MS support would know that??

Mine was flashing weird colours the other day without the lead in properly, cant remember what colour though
