Tried to do a firmware uupdate, half way through updating it just said USB Cable disconnected and now the phone won't even switch on!, is there any way to revive it?
 
Ok this morning I spoke to 3 and they will not offer me another phone, I did not tell them I tried to flash it I just said It won't boot. So I took out another contract on the K800i, the question is, Will it be safe to use my old sim card in the new phone even though the old sim card was still in the n80 when it got damaged?

btw contact me via trust if u want to revive the N80 phone, i should be able to do this.

i had the same prob with my n95 i reflashed it and it worked but it wasen;t working to good so i flashed it a second time and now the phones fine give it a try
 
I think the phone is beyond revive, When I plug the charger in, I still get nothing, I can't update either because the USB cable will not detect the phone anymore
 
UPDATE

Something unbelivable just happened, I decided to plug the USB cable in and then it came up with some stuff about reviving the phone, so I did follow the instrctutions, and now the phone boots, WITH THEW NEW FIRMWARE!

The only problem now is I ordereda bloody new contract, is it possible to cancel it?

yep you should be fine cancelling the contract just quote the distance selling act and that you would like to dsr the handset.

yeah forgot to mention that as it took me ages for my computer to pick up the usb connection but once it did it flashed and i reflashed just to make sure
glad its working though
