Sorry, I just needed to moan.

You know, I really have enjoyed gaming on consoles. More than I did on PC. But one of the things that I liked about console gaming is that I could game in the living room, chilling on the sofa.

But since the other half gave up some time consuming stuff, the tele is constantly in use watching drivel. I now only get to game in the living room for a few hours once every few weeks.

So now spending 90% of gaming time in other room sitting in uncomfortable chair. May as well just upgrade my pc again and sell the blimmin consoles on :(

end moan

the chair is only part of the problem - though a chair will never be a replacement to a sofa. Also got the big tele in living room, more space, better sound....

Kit out the other room comfortably or threaten to so the missus might budge on the issue.. that or get a second tv for the living room.

EDIT* Or put your foot down! (or get sky plus and come to an agreement!).

I just got a corner in our bedroom with a nice monitor, dolby digital headphone amp, some nice headphones and a comfy chair. Love it!

LOL

Somehow I knew some comments on here would cheer me up :)

Thought of some of the suggestions here, such as getting tele for bedroom, but irks me that I am considering spending hundreds of pounds just to use the 46" tele and surround system, which I bought, for something other than "Come dine with me"! :(

Hell, I'd be happy enough using the bedroom lying on the bed, but setting up my surround system would be a nightmare as I am not allowed to drill holes in walls.

Might just spend some money on a comfier chair for now - which will still benefit me should I go back to PC gaming.

I cannot play my games in the living room as the TV is in use pretty much all the time I have spare, so I have set up the former spare bedroom better than the living room complete with comfy sofa and a bigger TV :D This is the way forward!

My fiance wants my TV in the lounge.

There is no way I am putting my beautiful plasma in the lounge for her to watch repeats of don't tell the bride!

Oh for the love of God!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, my nice new chair arrived today. Ever so nice and would have done more for me getting comfy in 2nd room than I thought I could - only for the something to snap inside the ******** thing within half an hour :(

£100 ********* chair and it breaks within minutes. Not ********* happy.

On top of that PC died last night, so having figuring what's wrong with it - NOT!
