Im on zen, i pay 35 .. for 2mb unlimited. since when did they start capping ?

ditto.. getting a little worried now (although i was looking at moving soonish anyhows, 8mb is that little bit too tempting :D)

2mb Home 2000 packages won't be capped. The new 8mb one's will be though, think the allowance is 50gb. Basically the new packages will carry the cap due to their higher speeds.

tolien, i know we've kinda discussed this before but with the Zen 8000 packages, does your line sync at a specific rate, or as high as it can?

Also, with 512k, if I was downloading constantly 24/7, what is the max download amount I could do in a month? Maths is not my forte

Cheers

The same as MaxDSL with any other ISP, as high as it can (stably) go.

512 kbps * 60 s/min * 60 min/hour * 24 hour/day * 31 days/month * 1/8 kB/kb * 1/1024 kB/MB * 1/1024 MB/GB = 167.5 GB/month.

does it go up in specific increments, or will it sync as for example 1645kb?
