Thinking about selling my 360 but I still have about 11 months Gold subscription paid for - is there anyway of passing this over to another account or even reclaiming the money for the unused subscription from MS?

but will I not have to leave my account details on (including my credit card details) for them to be able to take advantage of it?

You can delete them I think?

Pretty mad you'd be selling your 360 at a point where the major titles are on the horizon. Any reason why? I know you've mentioned you're an avid gamer a couple of times.

I'm actually thinking about either selling or chopping in both my JAP PS3 and my 360 against a UK PS3.

With the 360 I have 2 x controllers with rechargable batteries + a play n charge kit - wifi - VGA cable & 3 games. Any idea how much I would get on a trade in?

just gonna stick to one console for a while as I just dont get enought time to play the games I have. PS3 and PSP will be more than enough to keep me busy tbh and some of the big games which I'm looking forward to on 360 are also coming out on PC i.e. Alan Wake.

I know an Xbox360 Premium trade (without extra's) get's you a PS3 for £200 at a highstreet store.

I'd think you'd get £70-£100 for the rest of the stuff. Then there is the PS3 to sell.

I do think you're mad though :p.

Good point, I currently don't have time to play all my 360 titles (let alone Wii and PS3) and I'm unemployed!

If you're PC is upto the task of Alan Wake then go for it, I think mines a million miles off though (C2D e6600 @ 3.6ghz, 2gb G.Skill HZ RAM and GeForce 6800 Ultra).

Suppose it's cheap enough to buy another Core console later on.

Any reason you're not selling the PS3 and sticking with the Xbox360? Fear of it dying?

Good move IMO..

Anyway I would have thought you'd get £250-£300 depending on what the 3 games are for the 360.

A m8 of mine recently traded in his 360 with 3 old games (GOW, BF & another) and got £200 against a PS3, which wasn't bad as his 360 looked like it had been dragged through a bush :)

i bought a 360 just before xmas (06) i've only played it for about 8 hours! i'm waiting for assasins creed! also the 360 is at the gf's house so another reason why i dont play it + most of the old games dont work with the 360 :/

My PC is a Dell XPS M1710 laptop with a Geforce 7900GTX 512MB, so should be good enough for Alan Wake.

I actually much prefer the PS3 to the 360 (quieter, BD and better controller IMO) and being as though I got the 360 for nothing then I'm making, not losing, by selling or trading.

I actually have 4 games not three. Forza 2, Viva Pinyata, Dead Rising and GOW.

Good choice thinking of the future.

mgs4, gta4, graw2, dmc4, little big planet, drake, warhawk

Not long now.

Best choice is having both consoles really, can't lose.
yeah that would be a good choice, in an ideal world with 28 hour days. unfortunately though time is a lacking and I needed to make a decision on which one to drop - it wasnt a hard decision really as the PS3 stands well above the 360 as a quality peice of hardware (IMO) and there are plenty of games due out which are more than enough to keep me busy.

I know its your choice but from a gaming perspective you'd be crazy to ditch a 360 for a ps3 at this time. Metal Gear and Gran Turismo are the only main games to look out for. On the other hand the 360 has tons of good games either out or coming out. Don't forget that GTA is also having exclusive content on the 360. If it has to be one or the other your best bet would be to stick with the 360 surely?

I completely agree, but I think he's keeping the PS3 for Blu-Ray playback.

Well it's one reason, but Little Big Planet and Drakes Fortune are a couple of others.

done it now anyway - stuck em both (and a few other bits) on members market ;)
