Thinking of swapping my 226BW for a 2232BW?

Hey guys,

A mate of mine has just bought a 2232BW and I think it’s put my 226BW to shame…

The picture on both units is great, I have an A-panel btw – but it’s the general finish of the 2232BW that really impresses me. I think it has a much more complete look than the 226BW

I can get the 2232BW for about £215 delivered and I’m hopping to see my ‘old’ monitor on the Bay for at least £150?

What I really want to know is whether you guys think I’m totally mad, wasting money etc or do you think I have a bit of a point? The new Samsung pebble range just look so much better in my opinion, more like their TV’s than computer monitors.

Plus now they’ve sorted out the infamous panel lottery situation, there are no risks involved with the range are there

I’m looking forward to your responses…

All down to taste personally i don't like the look of the 2232 bw, just stick to what you have or a better idea would be to sell and upgrade to a 24" dell or the samsung which will then put his 2232bw to shame.

from what ive read its worse now than what it was as the viewing angles have got worse.

i should stop visiting monitor threads as i never seem to say anything positive anymore

I don't rate build quality on the 2232BW highly, really don't like the stand. No height adjustment, and just held on by friction (rubber socket and ball) Also terrible bleed.

You are asking the good people on this board to make a judgement on your sanity

Have you not read some of the threads where people can make a justification on an 'upgrade' based on the most frivolous of excuses

I must admit though I do like my Pebble, it is a very good monitor - just helping you out a bit with some justification
