You should be fine with ITIL tbh. I got taken through a PPT and then had the test and the end and got like 38/40. Mind, it was years ago when I was eager and could remember stuff.
Still unsure if I have a contract for next year yet. Or who my boss is. Which is nice. They've put in a ton of meetings for me next year and I just got awarded 2 internal awards for awesome work (not sure how but I don't complain ) so hopefully I'll get one thrown my way.
Always end of year fun. Had my birthday at the weekend and now I'm just about to head to A&E as I've ****** up my back again. Recurring issue I just never have got sorted, so thought it's about time I checked it out

I've been trying to find out if I have a job next year or not, and from what I have ascertained, I do... I think. The person who's taken over the sample domain space that I'm in is a really sound American guy and we get on well. He said if I don't want to be the technical resource like the French dude said, I don't have to. I was like yeaa, but contract renewal time...I'm just playing ball until it's all sorted! He laughed. So hopefully a bit less stress over christmas! I probably won't find out until the new year in writing lol which is stupid but standard. You come into work in Jan assuming the paperwork will be done at some point.
Anyway, I've been putting some internal irons in fires trying to craft a logistics team, which covers all logistics software. There is a woman who I work with who manages a couple of the tools now, I want to get mine under her area, but build it out as a logistics specific team and not just her and work on managing the space with her. Figured if I'm here I may as well make some impact. Been coasting since May, but still delivering.
That's boring work though. Outside of that we've been smashing stuff out. Our VolAir app is so very close... saying that, our main developer has gone AWOL just before finishing. Yay. :/ he's a great coder, really good, yet doesn't want to do it for a living and was fitting kitchens! Lost that job, was doing this on the side and has some serious mental health issues. We've had to talk him down a lot. Now he's gone AWOL, he told us he was leaving slack, not sure why, but said to email him and he was taking some space/ time. Management is fun sometimes

Signed our partner agreement with our charity too, so as of next year will be giving away real goats

SaveNode is going... I've brought on one more person and hopefully a second soon. That'll be 3 developers and we need it. I'm in the process of building out an index fund, so a lot of relationship management and BS work tbh but needs to be done and seems to be my bag. Market has chucked our token price like mad, but hey, we're still here building but just have a **** budget of **** all to work with. I was trying to see how @Phate could do some work with us for savenode, but it's been a bit manic, so priorities changed. I haven't forgotten you dude

First day back in the office and **** I have a lot to do. I was tasked with technical documentation of 5 solutions and integrations with the system I'm ASM for before Christmas. It's not my area, and I don't want to do it as it's a **** of a job. I'm going to have to work out what the **** all this stuff does. The guy who asked me to do it is the PM on the project and not my boss, but I really don't want to rock the boat as an external employee, but the thought of it just makes me want to run away. If this was the job I applied for, I simply wouldnt have.
He's in tomorrow, so I have to crack as much as I can today, but I'm on here procrastinating.
One good thing though, we're in Beta now on Goat Clash, it's sweet as. Nearly ready to go live there! Got some epic stuff planned for that. I really want to get to the point we can bring on some more devs and build a "Goat Hunter" AR mobile game where, like pokemon Go, you find goats in the wild and have to butt them to defeat them. Each goat is a different level and worth different amounts of GOAT Cash. To level up you can just get more XP playing, or buy better horns etc with GOAT tokens. Me and my 11yr old came up with this and think it's ******* ace
VolAir coming on with the app too... last little bits to do, everyone did nothing over the break so we're all pumped to get it finished now.
Set myself a wunderlist of "goals" for this year. They're all measurable, and not resolutions, just things I want to do and they're done in phases so I feel like they're all achievable. Got the kids to do the same. You know you've been brainwashed by corp ******** when you catch yourself saying "now, you can't have that as it's not a SMART goal. You need it to be well defined and measurable" jesus, Ross.
