On the subject of keys. When I lived with my parents- about 6 miles from where we live now. Parents were on holiday. Drove back home. Couldn’t find my house keys. Neighbour who has spare keys was also on holiday.

Drove back to work.Searched my locker- not there. Dropped my bag. Heard a metal clang. Keys went through a small hole in lining of bag. Hole was tiny. HTF did it make in there?

When I was 18, my mate lost his keys. I volunteered to climb over the back wall in the lane and try to get in. He said to boot in the door in if there were no windows open.

No windows open, so I kicked in the bottom panel. Just as I kicked it in, I heard "I've found my keys!". I climbed back over the wall and went around and gave him the bad news, and he moaned about the damage. We walked into his kitchen, only to find the back door undamaged. A mystery!

It turned out my count was out by one, and I'd climbed over next door and kicked in their door by accident. Oops.

I didn't go around his for a while after that.

Just watched Sky Arts, Discovering Film: Horror. 90 min panel interview where authors and critics countdown the top 20 best horror films.

Made surprise viewing for a Thursday night. Shame Mark Gatiss was not part of the judging panel.

Whilst I am not a fan of an outright gore fest; I do enjoy a fright night now and again! I have to say agreed with every film voted with exception of about four I'd never heard of!

Piqued my interest to check them out! Worth a watch if you are partial to a horror film or two!

Was just standing about outside of work earlier with the rest of my workmates and managers on my shift, just like we do every night, waiting for the clock to tick over to 2200 so we can clock off when one of my managers asked me to step aside and have a word with him. Thought I'd done something wrong for a moment, but then her handed me an EOI form to take home and fill in so I can make the jump across from being a 'casual' worker to contract staff.

On keys, people kept losing the helipad keys at work so someone decided to attach them to a large lump of wood. Still kept getting misplaced, so then it got ridiculous. There was nigh on half a metal girder attached to them which made carrying and using them a right bloody chore.

Did anything else used to think they were playing against a player called Al as in short for Alan on computer games? I'm 34 and when i was playing megadrive.ps1/ps2 games i always wondered who Al was. Think i finally figured out by the time ps3 came out.

Drove past a school at 10am. Saw a few cars parked in the layby opposite with a parent in. Came back an hour ago and the same cars with parents are still parked there. Very sad parents if they haven't moved in the 4+ hours. They probably got nothing else better to do.

Did you check to see if they were alive still?

Denounce them all on facebook as suspected perves. Can't go wrong.

Man. Today has not been good. Despite being 10 weeks in and not looking at property on the basis we’re not in a position to buy I saw a place pop up last night.

About 100km from where we were convinced we wanted. Were planning to drive down that area anyway so just took a big detour to check out this small village. Like the town. Rang the estate agents to try and get the address (no one discloses it here) so we could have a bit of a nosey from the outside.

They suggests a viewing as they’re only based a few minutes away.

The house is perfect. Ticks absolutely everything and then some as it also has a 4 bedroom cave house at the edge of the plot needing renovation.

Downsides being we’ve not even listed our house yet and the only way to secure would be a 10% deposit which we’d lose if we didn’t complete within a set time frame. Which is a huge risk!

Heard that my estranged aunt died two years ago. Had no association with her plus her children (my cousins). For the few years previously, it was my uncle that wrote the Xmas and B'day cards. Haven't seen her since 2008/9 and cards ended 2018/9.

Parents have ordered death certificate for curiosity. If she died of cancer for example, if matters arise for me, I could say "oh my aunt had that (disease/condition) and died of it".

Don't feel upset, like I was with my great aunts. Feeling a little numb.
