This is what i believe (after death)

I believe in Reincarnation, but I know it's not going to happen. but it's nice to think that I will carry on in some form or another.

though, When I do die, i'll do something more useful than I've done with my life so far and give my body to medical science.

And I'll study your body in order to help others :)

You die, you're worm food. Yadda yadda.

This.

More importantly. I've realised that if some cosmic mumbo jumbo just happens to occur, it's unlikely to be anything that anyone can speculate, sure as hell isn't going to be covered correctly in any of the religious guff. It's also something that no being will ever know, until we kick the bucket and can't tell anyone about it. Therefore speculation is pointless.

Hi all,

I have read many snippets of what peoples belief's are in regards to Religion and God but was wondering what people's belief's were in Life after death?

I believe that when you die then your energy (soul) is transfered to a different dimension, I think it is a form of ascension but instead of your energy going to heaven it is "transported" to a separate dimension where either all the people who have died in this dimension are Energy forms or back into some sort of matter with a conscious.

The only problem i have with this idea (as with all others that believe in life after death) is the question of "what happens to someone's sole when they get severe brain damage and lose part of themselves?", Is the soul half moved on to the other "life" or is that part of the person or soul destroyed forever so when they do die and if the do go on doe they get themselves back?

I think that maybe the brain is like a computer with a computer program running, If a part of that computer fails then that program will not run correctly although the program is still whole, If you were to then transfer the program to another computer or repair the current one it would work again.

What is everyone else's opinion?

I recommend the book "Is Survival a Fact?" by Margaret Hamilton. It's basically my Bible.

Listen to some seance recordings as well. You'll find a lot of the answers you require.

No way of knowing and no real logic can be applied.

The only justifiable answer the scientific one, we just stop existing, the reactions in our brains cease, and so our consciousness just goes. It's hard to imagine or think about, but ultimately that's what I believe, although I'll be happy to be proven wrong in the future :D

it's obvious what happens when you die; you move onto level 2. there are 12 levels in total and at the end you are graded via a percentage on how well you've achieved. murder, rape, violence etc will give you a lower % than say helping little old ladies across the road, charitable work etc then once you are given your percentage, you get given a certificate and then go back to your desk job

I think in the future quantum resurrection will be possible and everyone who as died will be brought back to life (to whatever world that is at the time). I think once we die, our transition to the future world will feel instantaneous.

OP, it sounds like you'd enjoy reading of Edgar Cayce's works if you haven't already. My email is in Trust if you want links etc. Although initially it (his 'readings') seems rather 'out there' to some people, once you get into the meat of it basically it ties in nicely with existing religions but from a more birds-eye perspective. It's also rather Jungian in its view of consciousness which makes sense to me. Have a read around.

I don't believe anything about death, oddly. I don't subscribe to any theories if I really want to be honest.

I probably do think the "worm-food" theory is most likely. I don't find that scary, it sounds nice and peaceful.

Either way. I don't believe anything bad will happen to us even if there is something beyond our existance on earth.
