Does anyone else have a major lack of motivation to do.... anything at this time of year?

It seems every Winter, I find myself constantly tired, forcing myself to get up, unsociable and generally miserable. :(

Roll On Summer!

Yea winter is awful :(

I've been feeling this way for the last few weeks to be honest. Waking up while its still dark and then going home when its dark just feels horrible. Worst time of the year.

Then again I hate it when we get a stupidly hot summer. Because then I just struggle to get to sleep because it is too hot :p

True Brit me :) always gotta complain about the weather :D

I'm the same. I think its something to do with lack of warmth and sun. In the summer all windows are open, people are out and about and generally smiling and having fun.

I dont mind winter except that it goes on too long. If it were just a bit shorter and we didn't have to go through miserable February (cant stand that month!) it wouldn't be so bad.

Some of you could be suffering from Seasonal Affective Disorder, those that are ought to buy a SAD light box or SAD lamp. :) There rest of you man up. :p

- 2000 words postitivism essay for middle of January.

The price of those photography softboxes.....I mean SAD lightboxes are horrific.
Just replace the awful red-tinged standard bulbs in your house with some high quality energy saving daylight bulbs, it'll be more cost effective and you won't have to carry around a re-labeled photography softbox into whatever room you want to inhabit, so rather than having to sit in a particular room for a few hours to feel the effects of the daylight bulb, it'll be there for you no matter what.

Does that work?

I have to say I take some satisfaction in the amount of 'I hate/I'm miserable/what's the point?' threads cropping up lately...

In comparison, I must be quite happy.

Lass brought in a SAD lamp thingy a couple of years ago - it made her face reflect blue.

She's still called smurf, I think she may still feel sad ;)
