Iv had a problem with DLL nvidia files crashing iracing, Have re installed drivers, changed hard rives, cleaned old drivers, changed my 680"s around, nothing seems to resolve the problem.
But without spending to much time on that, iv been thinking of getting an AMD, Saying to myself AMD dont use DLL files ? if someone can confirm.
An expensive work around perhaps, but at end of my tether, as this has been going on for a year or so.
If i go AMD i should see the back of NVIDIA dll driver issues right ?
Whilst this card is on sale and has been annoying me to just say buy while its cheap, What are peoples thoughts,I like the lightning, but TBH it just seems to much as a step up for what it is price wise.
Also it says free games on that gold badge, but that gold badge, does not say 290x maybe i just cant read it as its too small ?

Though be aware the 290X will be slower than your two 680s. Not sure if it will fix your issue either, I've never played that game.

TBH since iv tried only using one card rather than two 680"s i havent noticed any drop in performance, in fact it runs smoother , iracing may well work on sli, but its not very well optimised. That is of course until i get a black screen half way through the race with "iracing has stopped responding"
I dont really play anything else, its essentially a sim racing rig, and a bit of media. But yeah i accept ill lose framerates on the occasion i play BF4 or so.
But the iracing issue is the be all and end all deal breaker.
Ill think also ill stick with a one card solution, and will be easy"r for the budget to replace in future

Im banking on that amd does not use DLL files, specifically C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\nvd3dumx.dll
Which is always the issue with "false entries"
