Thoughts on wireless network for business?

Just as title says really. We are moving premises and it the new place has no wiring of any sort there currently. We have spoken to one IT company(quite small) who recommended going wireless. My initial thought was that we use 3 different database'd programs and if you lose network conectivity then it comes up with a read/write error and kicks you straight off! While this only ever happens one in a blue moon with the current wired network I was a bit more concerned about the wirless dropping out more.

The office is only small and we are only running 6 computers at presesnt.

Any comments would be great.

With 6 computers it is probably a safer option to stay wired.

I would say wireless will be fine, however get a company in to set it up right, make sure you dont use budget wireless kit too.

This way if anything does go wrong, you can shout at the company who set it up and mmake them come back to fix it.

Wired, every time for me. Running bandwidth hungry programs over a shared 54Mbit (or whatever) link isn't a good idea IMO.
