THQ week on Steam

And here goes my usual moan about why is it always THQ and not someone proper like Ubisoft. :D

because like the BoGof offers in super markets it's done by the people who make the product not the store.

THQ don't seem to mind running sales, ubisoft however are greedy ******** who don't want to run a sale.

Yeah ive noticed this, shame as ubisoft do have some decent games under their belt

i bought metro for £8.00 last week after not giving it enough of a chance when it 1st came out and sometimes i hate being right. awful game, guns dont feel right, enemies are bullet sponges and ai companions is rubbish. such a shame as i was really excited about it

I am glad i didn't buy it. The dark grim atmosphere put me off.

Got dull very quickly as a game I found. The demolitions are fantastic, the physics feel really realistic etc but you need more than that to make a game. It almost feels like a sandbox with some vague kind of game and story tacked onto it. Pretty much what people though the original RF was going to be in fact, even though it wasn't.

As mentioned I'd hold fire for a sale on the THQ Complete Pack. Unfortunately I bought mine ages ago before it had Metro 2033 and DoW2:CR in it.

8 euros (what is it in GBP?) for the whole lot of RF you do get some decent games though. The original wasn't overly difficult though i agree with Fenris about those ****ing railguns... and Guerilla is a decent game so long as you don't try and actually play like a guerilla because its just not possible half the time and thats the only way to survive on the highest difficulty. RF2 i've never played though.

Still, there was something quite amusing about moving around a helipad setting proxi mines in secret only for some guy to trigger 1 near the beginning and i get the inevitable chain explosion that blows me up...

Tempted to get RF1/2 for steam but theres nothing else in there catalogue that strikes my interest.

I bought the pack in the july sales. Not even played any of them i dont think apart from metro 2033 lol.

Out of interest, if anyone knows.

Ive got retail copys of all the company of heroes as well as steam ones. Can i technically register the steam games under a new account and then play against my self? :O
