Threats, what would you do?

If someone sent me text messages and said that i was going to get beat up by his three mates after work, what would i do?
Tell him yeah fine you do it you plonker, you have evidence of threats and then you get a kicking, oh boy he is going back to being the daddys bitch.

wouldnt be enough evidence for a conviction , i think they wouldnt even be able to arrest you with a text message as evidence...
more than likely threy would ask if your prepared to give an interview, suspect says no , coppers go home.
