i have had nothing but trouble from three. have now returned a phone to them to get contract canceled. below is a email i have sent them using the feedback form.

i would like a senior member of management to call me please. as i am not happy with how i have been treated this morning!! i was transfered to 4 if not 5 different departments, of which 1 helped me, but then transfered me to the billing depart where my call was cut off once i refused to pay the bill until i got answers.

My phone has now not been activated for 6 if not more weeks. i was told ack in march that i would have nothing to pay and the contract would be canceled. I was then offered a £10 a month contract which i was happy with and upgraded. After that i had further problems with you, and requested the handset be returned. It has now been returned in the same condition as when i received it. I am not willing to pay the £40 i have been charged for, i have had nothing but trouble and now i have been hung up on. I do not see this as a professional organization and will be contacting OFCOM. i am being told different things everytime i call up, then i receive yet another bill after beeing told i will have nothing to pay.

If i do not get a call from a senior manager before 4pm i will be contacting OFCOM.

Regards
Jon

any advice would be appreciated. as i am not a happy bunny

To be honest, that note/email is way too informal and definitely look like its written out of frustration. I have posted so many times regarding my own issues with 3, including having trouble cancelling, them sending collectors. I'd suggest searching some of my posts. Basically, the way forward is one long formal letter (recorded delivery) to a named person in customer services, outlining all the details, why you think the way you were dealt with was unfair/unlawful and backing everything with clauses of law, etc, and not just dropping words like OFCOM in. Only then will they take you seriously. It did for me; a couple of letters and they wiped my alleged debt and the debt collectors disappeared.

they called me back this morning within an hour of sending an email. if i hear nothing i will call up after i finish work. but im not happy with the guy hanging up on me

That was one angry letter you typed. I can tell by all the spelling mistakes as your views were flying through your head too fast for you too write them down.

Next time, sit down and slowly work out how to destroy them in a letter and make it look as professional as possible.

Chuck in lines as ' as much to my dismay ' and ' How can a company of your stature and responsibilty possibly be incapable of......' etc etc

They think they are dealing with a bigwig then and will bend over backwards :D

Sometimes I just complain to companies like this for fun too see what I can get out of them. ;)

lol, well i have managed to find out that they are sorry and canceling from now. i will be issued a final bill in the next few days which will be less that this £40 but have to wait and receive that :(
