im next to South Shields General Hospital. Saw the massive lightning late last night, was taking a dump in the dark. Needless to say, the lightning speeded up the process lol. Ive not seen anything tonight though. Plenty of people on facebook ranting about the lightning about 90 mins ago. Hope theres some more tongiht

ok apparently my friend in the room with me just saw another flash, i saw nothing though. heard thunder but it was about 30 seconds after the apparent lightning. so it must be a good 5 miles away
