Tie or no tie?

I have an interview soon and I feel uncomfortable with this tie on. Should I stop moaning and wear it or not?

If the jobs for a stripper don't worry you won't need it long

Tie, absolutely unless it's some kind of menial job. Anything you are serious about, Tie is a must*

*Except Rock Band Member, Racing Driver or Nude Model

Depends if you want the job and whether you're prepared to let a small inconvenience reduce your chances of getting it.

I'd wear the tie. If it's uncomfortable then don't put it on until you get to the interview.

Depends on the job. If it's an office type job, then yes, definitely, if it's casual labour working in a restaurant, then you may get away without one, but in general, yes, wear it.

If you don't feel comfortable in wearing a tie then you don't have to, if it a job in an office or somewhat then i suggest it but otherwise you don't have to. :)

You should wear it but sometimes things like that can cause you to look more uncomfortable than necessary. Wear it all morning to get used to it a bit.

I hate ties so I leave my top shirt button loose when I have to wear one. Feels a bit better.

and looks realy lazy, fair enough if your running round the office but for a job interview put up with the slight inconvenience and get that button done up.

Defo go with the tie as someone else said it will be very unlikely to harm your chances of getting the job while the same cannot be said of not wearinf one!

Depends on the job. In an office based tech support role if someone turned up without one I wouldn't employ them.
