Tiesto on Radio one

I find it incredulous that so many people here like Tiesto. Actually, I find it incredulous that anyone likes his music. :p

Maybe in 1997. Anything I hear off him just seems to be recycled old stuff. Think the only who actively like and follow trance were lucky enough to be around when it was in its prime.

What an idiotic attitude. I cant believe people don't appreciate Indie bands are just talentless individuals covered in make up bashing on instruments they can barely play with spoons going 'yay look it me, im a (fake) rock star!'.

But i still appreciate that millions of people DO like indie bands.

Tiesto fan here, i missed this but i will definitely listen again online. Tiesto might be the slightly 'popier' side of Trance but i still find allot of his work extremely moving.

A lot of people seem to have something against Tiesto, but I struggle to see what. Ok maybe he isn't real hard core trance any more and has moved into a slightly different genre but without him trance probably wouldn't be where it's at today. He is a down to earth guy with a good attitude yet so many people have an unfounded grudge against him :/

Yeh all these people that are like 'he's lost it now'.... listen to ISOS6, pretty awesome if you ask me.

Ive seen him a few times now, the last closing of Amnesia i was at was pure amazing.

I stil get goosebumps now thinking about it!

His radio shows are also a great opportunity to hear him play a more board set.

His early Magik stuff still owns

Just listened to the first hour of the set - some awsome tunes wish
it was like 98/99/00 again :(

There are still loads off top quality tracks out there, you just need to look abit harder ;)

Yer its not what it was back in the day, but the music is still going strong.

CD1 is good but CD2 is pretty awful, the mixing is really amateurish and doesn't seem to have much thought put into it.

That last half hour of tracks was gash, male vocals just aren't good. :o Nice to hear some classics though.

Not doubting this, they dont have the same effect, and imo the scene
isnt what it used to be.

My most memorable clubbing moment was when Tiesto was playing the beach stage at Global 05. Best clubbing moment by far.

He's still one of the best imo.
