well for a start lots of people on here (been old ;) :p ) wont know who timbaland is.

ill call him a very sucessful rnb/pop producer. makes millions of dollars each year , lives the high life etc.

nice intresting animation type thing here about how he stole a guys music and used it shamelessly in nelly furtados album

he undoubtedly made allot of money from it.

poor guy tbh he would never stand a chance in court

this is possibly old as the internet itself and if thats the case i appologise lol , just thought it was intresting

if they could prove the dates mentioned in the flash then they should have a good case, although undoubtably they would face huge legal hurdles (the more money you have the more paperwork you can throw someones way and get a case thrown out on a technicality before even going to trial). Trying to create nrgative publicity is probably the way to go, but may be forced to go to court to defend themselves from slander charges.

Besides Timbaland being probably one of the best producers for 10yrs plus I can assume he doesnt need to 'steal' music and ideas. That said dont forget samples are used in nearly all songs these days - but if it is true then yes they should have got some credit -

THe bit about the song generating loads of money for timbaland to live the high life lol - Do it is just a mere album track I would have gone with 'maneater' as the main track lol good job though as timbaland was probably skint before hand - I mean the 2 Justin albums would not of earnt him anything ;)

An album isn't an album if it has one song though, each song contributes to an albums overall quality and so, in turn, to its amount of sales.

Using samples without permission or even notification is fairly dishonest and just because someones successful doens't mean they don't have the capacity to steal other peoples works.

how do we know he hasnt done the same with other peoples music

obviously this one track made him a small amount of cash compared to other stuff he did but the guy who wrote the piece of music didnt get even a penny

im betting nelly furtardo paid him allot to produce her album too

it doesnt even seem like a sample its just the exactly the same full track with furtardos vocals over it :/

Pretty blatant if it is the case. Wouldn't be so annoyed if the original weren't such a catchy little tune :)

Interesting - although I'll play Devil's advocate here and say that Tim may not have gone out of his way to steal this - was probably miss-sold it as a sample he could use.
