Just read up that both the 1.4 & 1.6 Zetec SE engines (mines the 1.6) do not have the idler pulleys, just the Tensioner only.

Edit - my bad, some people are saying their is and others saying their isn't but I bet their probably is!

Of course not but in the case of these engines its not necessary unless it actually needs changing.

But as your in the area and have already took the old belt off it makes sense to replace it there and then.

No there is a idler which is not included in the kit, they have a habit of bearings failing in them and falling to pieces.
