i have no specific reason to get an n95 nor do i need all the features it has to offer - that said i probably would use them if i had them.

im currently using a sammysung d600 and the contract is up next week. i am able to get the n95 for free and a £45 a month for 18 months from the o2 shop.

im not going to go to the carphone warehouse as they have messed my mum around re: the cashbacks, phone staff and other things, long story - not going there, all i can say is im not giving them my custom tbh.

i was going to go the the cpw but after recent events i decided against it.

is there any shops online that have good deals on the n95, ive tried mobileshop.com, they seem to have some good deals. just wanted to know before i go ahead with the o2 deal and find out later on i could have got it cheaper.

thanks in advance

do it, but look around for better offers first. the n95 is a very good phone. battery life is a little below par but if you charge it every night its not a problem:)

Great gadget, but if you want a phone to be a phone, than less than a days battery power is hardly mobile is it, until battery improvements are made i'd stay well clear (sent mine back)

I managed to juice the battery within 6 hours on the first day i had it. HOWEVER, having said this i have had not one problem with the battery on my n95 since. I am hardly using my phone at all atm, therefore the odd fiddle and standby time is around 2.5-3days for me.

if u want "a phone to be a phone" then i cant see how the n95 doesnt deliver. If u want it to be everything that it is then u must trade that off against battery life. If u want more than that still, then unfortunately your looking for a phone that doesnt exist.

DO IT ! Buy one, and if u dont like it return it :P

looks like the o2 shop have the best deals, cpw are close 2nd but as i said above im not giving them my custom, the only way they might get me is if they can do the phone for free on a £35 contract with the 800/200 deal that the o2 store is doing.

ill post back later on and tell you's the outcome

i'm getting an upgrade on the 14th. Just wondering what camera is better the one on the k800i or the n95?

thanks

okay time for the update.

went for the n95 from the o2 store as they had the best deal (£89.99 for the handset and £35 a month). tried getting her to drop the price, she went and phoned the manager in HO but the stated price was the lowest as they could do it as CPW dont do it any cheaper either.

here's the fun part, im not sure what tarrif im on - the 'assistant manager' said the £35 per month was the best deal to go for and the handset is £89.99. so i said yea, ill go with that one then. she put the order through, took details etc and i handed over cards and ID etc.

now!, got to the cash desk and she said 'oh, im sorry but im going to have to charge you for the handset' - £89.99. i thought to myself, surely you just done that went i gave you my cards and ID. gave her the 'confused look' and she said 'oh no, you went for the £50 a month which means you get the handset for free' i was like yea (when really i was like 'what the **** is going on here')

it says on the paperwork o2 £35 a month but the receipt says £50. on the £50 a month tarrif the handset is free. i also took out the insurnace at £6 which i thought was the wise move to make.

now either she was being nice and giving me the phone for free on the £35 a month deal or she is just very stupid. if the bill comes in at £56 (inc. £6 insurance) pounds ill have something to say but if it comes in at £41 (inc. £6 insurance) ill be a happy bunny knowing i got the phone for free.

the nokia is amazing, had a few problems with it at the start, restarted itself a few times for no apparent reason but its seems fine now.
