I currently have the rig in my sig, But the 5770s have tempted me. If I can get £60 for my current card, DIRT 2 which I would be buying anyway is £25, it would be about £30 to upgrade the card?

Is it worth it? I run 2 monitors, at 1680x1050 and 1440x900, the CPU may hold it back though.
Also, what power cables does it need? My PSU has 1x6 pin PCI-E cable, is this enough for a 5770?

Thanks!

Nothing wrong with an overclocked 6600. Running one myself with a 5850, don't think you'll have any cpu problems.

For £30 seems worthwhile. Or are you just hankering after 'new tech'. Not a huge jump just DX11( not worth it on that alone) and lower power requirements. Worth it if you Xfire though.;)

Well, to be honest I'm fine with my 4850 at the moment, I wouldn't have considered the upgrade without seeing that Dirt2 was free with the cards, that's what's driving me to it. Afterall, if I'm going to buy the game anyway, I may as well get a card that has it for free, which essentially lowers the cost of the card to me.
And it'll make Dirt2 look prettier anyway, which is always good. Think I'll go post my order now. Anyone interesting in a 4850, as I'll be sticking it in the MM soon ^_^

Should never buy a card just for a game.
