I almost got the 5800 but then i saw this new Samsung. it has a touch screen and a slide out numberpad. A supposedly excellent screen (if slightly smaller than the 5800's).

I just use the phone casually. would like option of reading ebooks and watching movies on so advantage to the 5800 cos of the extra 0.4", but i also like buttons for making calls.

Any idea what OS the Tocco ultra uses. is it one that you can get a decent amount of apps for?

ahahaha, my other half also has the Tocco and despises it and they wont exchange it for her! Aswell as my best mates other half he also got it and despises it. Its a classic case of 100% looks and 0% functionality.

But no one has any experience of the Tocco ultra?
It shares only the name and the widget functions (although upgraded) with the old Tocco according to reviews. it has new different technology touch screen to the old Tocco.

i got one today not a great start as soon as i connect it to the pc or charger it switches off then i unplug and it comes back on :( whats going on

ok m8,just for the record the screen is excelent but is slow to respond sometimes, great sound and vid and feels well built but its just too laggy.

is it just the touch screen thats laggy or the whole system?
If you use the buttons to make calls and text is it okay?

I've decided on the Nokia, but my wife really likes the look of the 8300 so as long as everything works fine using buttons and the touch screen stuff is a bonus then i guess that will be okay.

well i took my 8300 back today and got the nokia 5800 and lowerd my tarif to £25 600min and unlimited txt on orange.

the phone is so slow m8,no wifi and the keypad is pointless, music is fantastic sound best ive heard
camara is good but my sons 905 is so much better and only comes with a 1gig memmory, overal id say avoid its just an average phone not rubbish but not good the nokia 5800 is so much more better on the touch pad.

Someone at work has one. Seems better than the old tocco, but its still slow and laggy compared to an iPhone. I'm kinda going off the touch screen's myself. I like buttons!
