About the 5960X
Intel's latest Haswell-E 5960X Extreme processor is the most powerful desktop gaming processor you can get, perfect for gamers, video encoders and professional audio.

Might want to try rewording this bit...

Why? The only mistake i see is the use of is instead of are.

"Intel's latest Haswell-E 2011-v3 processors are the most powerful desktop gaming processor you can get, perfect for gamers, video encoders and professional audio."

Why? The only mistake i see is the use of is instead of are.

"Intel's latest Haswell-E 2011-v3 processors are the most powerful desktop gaming processor you can get, perfect for gamers, video encoders and professional audio."

Because they're not the most powerful desktop gaming processors you can get, the 5960X is.

So your saying the 5960X isn't a Haswell-E 2011-V3 processor?

You're missing the point. A claim is made that the 5960X 'is the most powerful desktop gaming processor you can get'. Then it turns out that according to their own blurb it isn't 'the most powerful' as the entire range of Haswell-E 2011-V3 including the 5820K 'is the most powerful desktop gaming processor you can get'.

The 5960X is therefore not alone, and is just 'one of the most powerful'. Capiche?

The 5960X is the single most powerful.
The Haswell-E as a range is the most powerful.

Both are true.
That's the way i'm reading it.
