TODAY ONLY 23RD APRIL - SSD & HDD BONANZA!

Sorry dude but what -

My battlefield takes up 8.48GB, Medal of Honour probably takes up a few gigs, open office takes a few hundred megs. I really find that hard to believe.

Take 8 Gigs off your 23.6 leaves 15Gb for windows, MOH, open office etc...................

It's true, I don't have any of the single player files of them games installed, which saves around 7GB at a guess, system restore is off, swap file is on another drive, and possibly a few other tweaks that I cannot remember of hand :)

That SSD is very very temping, just the size that's putting me off a little. 60GB for £45 and i'll buy two :D

Also, wrong place I know, but can't find anywhere else to put it. On your easter Deals on the Website link, there's this:

;)

Nice deal on the SSD - really trying hard not to get it xD

i have noticed a few errors like this as of late.

apart from that i am tempted to get one of the ssd's when i get my moneys

I had a Kingston 64Gb SSD which wasn't big enough for my laptop at all. If it's an OS drive in a desktop where the bulk is stored elsewhere then fair enough, but never as a sole drive.

30GB is too small to be of any use imo but still.

No, it's not too small:), if you don't have an ssd this is a great price for one, I have a 60GB ssd and could easily manage with the 30GB, So far with mine I have used 23.6GB, that's with Windows 7 64 bit, service pack 1, Battlefield bad company 2, Medal of Honor, and various small app's like media players and temp monitors and unigine heaven, open office, etc,

Its still not worth having no matter what you say if it was 60GB then yer but 30GB just not worth it IMO.

What's the formatted capacity of your 60GB drive?

So a 30GB would be about 27GB, and so with your usage you'd have around 4GB free.

I think that's too low. It would be better to save up for a larger drive around 60GB.

I could easily install my games and apps to a separate drive and have near 20Gb free on a 30GB drive, but then it would just be sitting there empty, no point in that, you gotta agree it's a good price for a ssd as a stand alone OS drive:)
