What would you recommend for 4 days? To a £1k gift off my boss for wedding gift and would like to put towards...

4 days? Europe. Just don't get the point in long haul flights for a long weekend. You spend almost as much time travelling and faffing.

Both are awesome. I would choose Tokyo in this instance and use a couple of days to bullet train out of there to Kyoto. Japan was incredible and I would go back at the drop of a hat if I got another chance. I totally fell in love.

If it were only a week I would probably suggest NY instead simply due to flight times.
