For those of you who have tomtom mobile on your spv's could you answer a few questions for me before i waste £200 -

How long does the battery last when you are using tomtom. I can kill my spv battery with around 10 hours of music playing at work... so theory says with the screen constantly on, and bluetooth on - How long will it last?

Is it easily readable when you have mounted it in your car or am I better off with TT300 or similar?

Cheers :)

Dunno, i have never tested it for that period of time, but you can set tomtom to only turn the backlight on when giving instructions. This would give you a shed load of more time.

im not sure which spv you have, but with mine ive never tested it for more than 2 hours, which drained about 15% of the battery.....but my bluetooth GPS came with a cigarette lighter > usb adaptor, so i can charge anything that is usb in my car :) Tend to always plug it in before i drive off.

Tom.

I have the C500 and was going to buy Tom Tom , but I read on various sites that the battery quickly drains when running this. So , I've saved my money for the time being . I would run this from my car charger , [got one from fleabay] if I went ahead and bought it.
