oh yeah, lol, sorry for that, i have been out alnight, cant think straight ;)

:p (That is my excuse anyway, lol)

excellent :D

good of them to allow you to take a pic as well, most dealers / casinos seem to get a bit miffed by people with camera phones!

wasn't a casino, it's a "ahem" tournament that is played in a private room in a pub

oh and I was the dealer on this table anyway :D

ah ha, i see, preferential treatment to yourself while playing in the darkness of a pub backroom. i bet the other players gave you a few glances before congratulating you :p

I heard that it will soon become legal to play for cash in a pub, so long as the pub doesn't take a rake?

I tried looking it up somewhere, to no avail, anyone?

probably will come in sept/oct

£5 max buy in / £100 max prize , no rake/fee for the venue

just more drinks being bought on quiet nights, which will be more than enough for the landlord.

Even the ones that host "illegal" games don't tend to take a cut, as you say they are happy for the extra business

one I play on Sundays adds £1 on but they put a buffet on

The law needs changing as it is being openly flouted at the moment

Diamonds? Pah!

Sorry, just kidding. Nice RF by the way, never had one myself. Then again, I am more of a blackjack player than poker. :)
