The saxons wanted to differentiate between Brittany and Britain, so called us 'Britannia major' and Brittany was called Britannia minor.

Hence Great Britain.

Yeah that's a bit of a flop @wolfie138. 'Great Britain' is more of a reference to geography.

But @Psycho Sonny 's belief that this country has never done anything great is hilarious, and I'd also add quite sad :/

well you have to be pretty great to win a war.
as for tea plantation slaves, you might want to take that up w/ the companies and see how well you do in a libel suit.

Good universities aren't generally job training centres, granted in the case of say engineering, medicine and law there is some overlap. I think there are some universities that offer some vocational Police studies type degrees but they're generally quite low ranked ones, perhaps he wanted to go to a better university?

Why is no one mad at the local coastal Africans who captured the slaves from inland in the first place to sell to Europeans and Americans? Britain actually abolished slavery and then went on to enforce that ban on other countries using the Royal Navy, we didn't have to do that and other countries didn't.

Slavery was never very popular with the British public and had no legal status within the British Isles.

Though Slave ships did dock in British ports, the status of the "Cargo" was ambiguous. There was a sort of wet foot/dry foot situation whereby if any of the "Cargo" managed to escape and make it to shore they were considered free Men and would not be returned to the ship.

Not really. Anyone can win a war all you need is more or better resources than your opponent.

This is proven by the fact a white supremacist who believed in eugenics was in charge of the UK at the time Hitler was attacking europe at the time.

Also did the UK win the war? Or did Germany spread themselves too thin? Also Germany was fighting the world not just the UK. I'm sure Africa, Asia, Russia and America would disagree with the fact the UK single handedly saved the day.

This is what I mean. People who live here are deluded. It was only a matter of time before Germany fell as they ran out of resources and allies.
