Top mount gpu water-cooled?

Hi all, I'm looking to get a watercooler aio for my gpu - I have a nzxt kraken z73 mounted to the front which is 360mm, I have a thermaltake v250 case so I can put a 240mm on top according to there website - it's able to take 2x 140mm fans at top so does anyone know if I'll be able to get away with a 280mm being as it can house 2 fans at a 140mm size, is it also OK to top mount the cooler for a gpu? If its not listed as compatable then dont get a 280mm radiator there could be a number of reasons why.

Rads are bigger than fans (owing to the end tanks) so just because it supports 280mm of fans, doesn't mean a rad will fit. Best to look online for builds in your case and see I guess.
